THE LESSONS
THE AMAZING PIANO
In this very first beginner lesson we’ll cover all the basics such as how the piano works, how to sit, all the keys etc.
Then we’ll go straight to the point: To teach you the most useful chords you need for the rest of your life
In the second lesson you’ll learn more about the chords and inversions.
You can play the chords in many different ways, and we’ll cover the most essential. Also we’ll work on a song called song for my piano
In your third lesson I will show you some fundamental principles in how you can play any song!
This is a big promise, but I’m going to show you the methods that I’m using to this very day to be able to play any tune/song I want!
In your fourth lesson I will show you the principles behind the amazing circle of fifths.
These principles we can learn from this amazing circle are extremely valuable and easy to understand once you crack the «code»
We’ll continue working on the circle of fifths as well as how you can find any chord.
Also we’ll work on how you can play fluently and create music that actually sounds good by using some easy tricks
In lesson 6 I will show you how you can go deeper with one thing.
We’ll analyze the tune we have started to work on and we’ll talk a lot about practicing-techniques.
Did you know that practicing piano is a skill in itself? We’ll cover a new method that will guarantee that you’ll get great results as a pianist once you apply them
In lesson 7 I have a few surprises for you! I’m also going to demonstrate for you the number one method I used to get good playing piano quickly.
The title of this lesson is chord progressions, and I’ll teach you the concept and how you can use the most famous ones when you play the piano.
ACCOMPANIMENT
In lesson 8 I will show you accompaniment. How can you play together with other people? I’ll also motivate you along the way to play scales and the importance of practicing the scales so well that you’re ready to play what you want. In this lesson we’ll dive even deeper on just one thing: The tune you are copying from me.
WORKING WITH DIFFERENT GENRES
The title of lesson nine is working with different genres. When we play the piano, there are so many genres to choose from - and we need to wear many hats as piano players.
I’ll show you the best approach to be able to play a variety of piano styles, PLUS a lot more
In your last lesson with me, I’m going to show you how you can continue on your own.
We’ll cover some other topics such as dynamics, form and more. We’ll also start working on a brand new tune that I hope you’ll like.
This tune puts everything together from the course, and when you’re able to play the whole tune you’ll understand so much more!
When you’re done with the course, you'll have what it takes to continue on your own to become a successful pianist.
We have spoken a lot about how to practice smart, how to extract what you’ve learned, how to play any tune you want plus a lot more.
And: If you’re up to it, I have a special challenge for you (that I’ll talk about in the end of lesson 10)
We all know that the only way to improve is to practice. How would you feel if an expert showed you exactly how to practice, what to practice, when and where to practice to get the best results?
For the first time ever you are able to sit down to practice together with your teacher. Thanks to fancy technology, we have the ability to slow down the music for you, create loop points as well as outlining everything for you.
Why make practicing harder than it is?
The only thing this course does not do for you is to do the practicing...
...for you.

A: This course tells you the order of what to practice. YouTube is great for getting inspiration, tips and tricks, but it doesn't tell you the best order to work things out. Simply put: We love YouTube and we recommend you also use YouTube to fill up with helpful information.
Still: If you want to see results and get the best order, this course will give you that!
A: A big YES! Everyone can learn how to play piano, and everyone can learn how to play freely. (Without manuscript)
A: First of all, you'll learn the basics of chords and how you can play multiple styles. We'll work for a while on ballads, then you'll learn more modern pop- tunes.
More important than the styles is that the principles we use are principles you can use on many songs you know. Easy as that!
A: Depends on the level you play already. If you're a very skilled classical pianist, we recommend the Jazz Piano Step-By-Step Course.
If you used to play (some) classical piano for example many years ago, and now you want to learn the basics to be able to play freely, this course is a perfect fit for you!
A: If you are between 10 and 100 years old, you're a perfect fit for the course.
Your age is not that important. What is important is that you're willing to learn and do the work required to go through this course.
"A really good, enjoyable and instructive piano course - by far the best course I have attended."
